About

The Prep Room

Your career journey is personal - your prep should be too.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Lauren— and I started The Prep Room to help women step into new career chapters with confidence, clarity, and the right materials to match.

Over the past decade I’ve navigated several pivots of my own—serving in government, shifting into investment banking, and now building a career in wealth management. Each move reinforced one truth: telling your story well is the key that opens doors. It’s how you own your experience, communicate your value, and show up prepared for whatever’s next.

I created The Prep Room because I know how intimidating transitions can feel, especially when you’re advocating for yourself without a roadmap. My goal is to be that guide. Whether you’re re‑entering the workforce, chasing a promotion, or switching industries, I’m here to help you put your best foot forward—with a resume that reflects who you are, a LinkedIn that opens doors, and the confidence to speak powerfully in every interview.

What We Do

Preparation is powerful. When you’ve done the work—on your materials and your mindset—you walk into every room grounded in your worth.

That’s where The Prep Room comes in. Whether you need a resume that positions you for the role you want, a LinkedIn profile that opens doors, or interview coaching that turns experience into compelling stories, I build the tools that let you show up with clarity, conviction, and purpose.

Our focus is on supporting women—launching careers, pivoting paths, stepping into leadership—because I know your journey isn’t one‑size‑fits‑all. Your materials shouldn’t be either. Every word is tailored to spotlight your strengths, tell your story, and support your next move.

Think bespoke, not template. Thoughtful, strategic, and built around you, because your experience deserves more than quick edits. It deserves to be truly seen.
